IMAGES/ STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY
The Marketing Committee has spent the past several months speaking about images/ stock photography. PLEASE do not copy and paste images from the internet to include on communications for chapter use. We want to avoid copyright violations or any lawsuits from unauthorized use. When using images/ stock photography, you must get the proper permission which can be obtained by doing the following:
- Obtain image from free stock photography sites. List attached.
- Get written permission from the creator and retain.
- Pay for the image from creator or stock photography site.
LOGOS
National logos should not be copied from the Internet. Often times these logos are incorrect; therefore, please contact the chapter Marketing Committee if you need national or chapter logos for your project. Please refer to National Guidelines.
BRANDING GUIDELINES
All communications should be concise, clear and visually pleasing. Please do not clutter materials by including unnecessary information or adding too many images. Please refer to National Guidelines.
PROJECTS
If you would like the Marketing Committee to assist with your project, please complete the Marketing Request Form. Please add descriptive information regarding the project and allow a (3) three week minimum to complete your request. If you or someone other than the Marketing Committee has completed a project, the Marketing Committee will still need to review. Ample time should be given to review and obtain the appropriate approval from the Basileus. Click to begin marketing request.
